We'll meet at the Manhattan Avenue Street End (MASE) by the green shipping container and pull out some tandem canoes to launch and then we'll paddle briskly to the Grand Street Bridge and back.  It's around 2.8 miles each way.   Map of Newtown Creek courtesy of Newtown Creek Alliance.
