Intermediate Kayak: Here Comes the Sun

The sun will actually already be up but, hey, there's no law against greeting it.  We're going to paddle against the last of the ebb and maybe make it around Roosevelt Island.  In other words, vigorous paddling. You'll be glad, once again, that you're a morning person.

• Meet:  6:15AM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
• Launch Kayaks: 6:45 AM
  
• Low slack: 8:36AM (at 19th St.)
  
• Sunrise 5:24 
  
• Return: 8:30AM

• What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc.

Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. Bring dry clothes in case you get wet and we have cool weather in the evening.
