  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

CANCELED - Kayak: Short and Sweet, Alehouse Edition

Start the week with a short and sweet trip. The currents and our mood will determine the float plan.  Some Mondays it will be a challenging paddle and other weeks we'll just drift and watch the sunset.

This Monday we'll do a Roosevelt Circ  and afterwards, those interested, will go to  the Greenpoint Alehouse.

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet:  4:15 PM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
  • Launch Kayaks: 5 PM
  • Slack: 6 pm 
  • Return: 6:45 PM ish
  • Release: 7:30 PM

  • What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc.

Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. Bring dry clothes in case you get wet and we have cool weather in the evening.
