Nautical Knots for Paddlers

Have fun learning the most useful knots for kayakers and canoeists including the bowline, clove hitch, rolling hitch, and how to make off your boat to a cleat.

• Skill level: All levels

• Date: Tuesday July  30th, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
• Location: Manhattan Avenue Street End Park (next to 1205 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222). In case of rain, we will meet in Greenpoint Beer and Ale.
• Instructors: Fiona & Thiago

Please sign up, as space is limited to 30.  

Bring folding chairs or camp chairs as there is limited seating in the park.

Tying knots is thirsty work, so for those who'd like to, we'll head to the Greenpoint Beer and Ale afterwards to celebrate our newfound nautical knot-abilities.
