Hello everyone!

I am looking for volunteers to help with NCA's Kingsland Wildflower Festival. It is on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 2- 5 pm at 520 Kingsland Ave in Greenpoint. We will have a table, 2 chairs, and I will bring supplies over from Queens Landing. I will be there at 1 pm to set up and stay until 5 pm to break down. 

You can help volunteer with a craft (teaching the public how to tie knots), make an educational poster or just being there advocating for the club/signing up new members-anything engaging! You can talk about our free public paddles, marine/safety knowledge classes (marine radio, knots, trip planning, rules of the road), and beginner kayak/canoe paddles etc. Or just come hang out! 

Let me know if you are interested and how long you would like to volunteer for. Lastly, you can also hang out and check out the events on the roof, art, and performances. The festival is free and open to the public.
