KAYAK: Intermediate: Early Birdin' It

With the current switching by 7:15, we need to get in the water fast and head up the river to get as far as we can before moonbeams carry us home again.  So, in addition to a childlike sense of wonder, you need to be a strong paddler who can put your boat together and GO!  For those who have somehow held on to employment while also being NBCB members, I promise to get you back and out by 8:30.

• Meet: 6:30 AM sharp at Queens Landing in LIC, directions are here.
• Launch at 6:45 AM
• Slack is HIGH at 7:13am at 19th St Pier
• Return & Release: 8:30 AM

• What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, and remember to bring water and a snack.   Please no jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
