  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

If you want to see the refection of the Manhattan skyline on the water, at night, come to this trip. We are going to paddle around Roosevelt Island. We need to put the lights on top of our kayaks. Music is optional. The wind on your face is permanent.

  • Meet:  7:00 PM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
  • Launch: 7:30 PM
  • Slack: 8:43 PM Ebb begins 
  • Return and release: 9:30 PM

  • What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc.

Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. Bring dry clothes in case you get wet and we have cool weather in the evening.
