  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Friday Night Lights ~ around Roosevelt

Join us for a paddle around Roosevelt Island and take in the city lights on Friday night. We will enjoy the setting sun as we round Roosevelt and use our lights for the return trip to Queens Landing.

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 6:15 PM sharp at Queens Landing in LIC, directions are here.
  • Launch at 6:45 PM
  • Sunset is at 7:52PM
  • Slack is at 7:54PM (Hells Gate)
  • Return & Release: 9:30 PM

Dress to get wet, and remember to bring water and a snack.   Please no jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
