Creek-tures!  Creatures of the Creek Diorama Shadowbox

We'll meet in the public seating area outside the brewery. No purchase necessary. There are non-alcoholic and food options.

Relax at the end of the day with a beer, a burrito and one of our fun art/science workshops. All materials supplied, no art experience needed. Please sign up so we can provide enough art supplies.

Discover the the amazing plethora of life in and around Newtown Creek. Enjoy a 10 minute scientific presentation about the Wildlife of Newtown Creek, and the rest of the time is dedicated to drawing, painting, and collage! 

You'll be provided with paper, markers, scissors, watercolor, glue and a frame and more. Make a diorama of the creatures or invent new creatures.

We will be outside - in  bad weather, we'll meet indoors.

Note: we'll supply scissors, but you are welcome to bring an art knife AND a cutting mat if you prefer. Please no art blades unless you have a mat to protect their tables.
