KAYAK: Intermediate to Williamsburg bridge and Sunset

Registration

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Williamsburg Bridge and Sunset Paddle

After a quick setup, we will paddle on the ebb tide towards Williamsburg Bridge. We will take in the setting sun and enjoy the views on our return journey.

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 5:30 PM sharp at Queens Landing, directions are here.  Please be on time as we have fast setup.
  • Launch at 5:50 PM
  • Slack is 6:54PM (Corlear's Hook / Williamsburg Bridge)
  • Sunset is 7.42PM
  • Return & Release: 8:30 PM

  • What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, and remember to bring water and a snack.   Please no jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.

This paddle was originally scheduled for 7th August but was postponed due to weather. Hoping for better weather this time around!
