  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Kayak: Intermediate: Lunch Paddle

Take a long lunch break for a short paddle to the Williamsburg Bridge.

Bring a bite to eat while we hang under the bridge until the currents change.

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 10:45 AM sharp at Gotham Point 1-15 57th Ave, Queens. End of 2 Street
  • Launch Kayaks: 11:20 AM
  • Slack: 12:25 PM and the Ebb begins
  • Return: 1:15 PM
  • Release: 1:45 PM

  • What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
