Kayak: Intermediate: North Brother Circ

You must be able to paddle for at least 90 minutes, be comfortable in big waves and fast currents.  We'll paddle through Hell Gate, then up and around North Brother Island. About 15 miles. Possible stop at Hallets on the way back. Winds above 15mph change this to a Roosevelt Circ.

NO INSTRUCTION, You must know the forward stroke, reverse, ruddering and stop, set up your boat, launch and land unassisted.

• Meet: 12 PM sharp at Gotham Point 1-15 57th Ave, Queens. End of 2 Street
• Launch Kayaks: 12:45 PM
• Slack: 2:15 PM and the Ebb begins
• Return: 4:30 PM
• Release: 5 PM

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
