Registration

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Kayak: Intermediate: Coffee & Roosevelt Circ

We'll paddle up the West Channel and stop at Hallets for our morning coffee and food.  
NO INSTRUCTION - YOU MUST KNOW THE FORWARD STROKE, TURNS AND BE ABLE TO PADDLE AT LEAST 1 HOUR

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 8:30 AM sharp at Gotham Point 1-15 57th Ave, Queens. End of 2 Street
  • Launch Kayaks: 9:15 AM
  • Slack: 10:20 AM and the Ebb begins
  • Hallets: 10:30 - 11:15
  • Return: 12 PM
  • Release: 12:30 ish PM

  • What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
