KAYAK: Intro to Advanced: Red Hook

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Intro to Advanced:
Valentino Park, Red Hook

  • We're going to Red Hook!  We'll pull our boats up at Valentino Park before riding the flood home.

    Being advanced helps move you along the TA/TL track and helps you to appreciate our NYC waterways year round.  Which means you'll be ready to go next spring to help our community boathouse fulfill its mission!


  • Advanced requires skills listed here.  Prerequisites: Advanced or at least 4 intermediate trips + ability to paddle for 4+ hours.  Reach out if you have questions.


  • Skill level: Advanced Intermediate - Advanced (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 11:30am at Queens Landing in LIC, directions are here.
  • Launch at 12:00pm
  • Slack is 1:49pm at BB
  • Return & Release: 4:00pm
