KAYAK: Intermediate: To Hell Gate Bridge or Bust and Back Again

To Hell Gate Bridge  or Bust

Let's take one more trip up to the Hell Gate Bridge, with views of  autumn trees in Astoria Park while the water is still warm enough. Neoprene booties will making launching and landing on the ramp more comfy.

NOTE: No assessments, no instruction , and no beginners, please.

  • Skill level: Intermediate(see what this means here)
  • Meet:  11 AM sharp at Queens Landing LIC
  • Launch Kayaks: 11:30 AM 
  • Slack: 12:40 AM and the Ebb begins
  • Return: 1: 45 ish   kayak launch
  • Release: 2:15PM ish

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
