The weather  is improving, but it is going to be under 60 degrees for a few months. The water is also very cold  still. So before you paddle you need to take the winter paddle class to learn what to wear and how to avoid hypothermia. It is mandatory to use a dry-suit, and the club has some of them that you can use.

PLEASE NOTE: This class is for NBCB Intermediate and Advanced padders only. If you become a NBCB winter padder, there is an additional cost of $50/year to join winter trips. 

The class is on Friday, March 7th, 2025 at our club in Long Island City (Queens Landing)

It starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 8:00 PM
