Canceled. Kayak: Intermediate Skills: Williamsburg Bridge

The week of rain has created a lot of CSO, and the gusts are creating a wind chill in the 50s tomorrow.  This overcast day is not looking like a fun first paddle, so it has been canceled. 

There's another paddle up for Monday which is looking 20° warmer with some sun and less wind.  Sign up if you are interested.

We'll go at a leisurely pace, as this will be the first paddle for many this season.
 Intermediate Skills Required - no instruction. 

• Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
• Meet:  11:30 AM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
• Launch 12:30 pm
• Ebbing until  1:50 pm 
• Return: 2:30 ish
• Release: 3:30 PM ish

• What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc.

Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. Bring dry clothes in case you get wet and we have cool weather in the evening.
