The Community Canoeing Public Paddle series
is back for 2025!

As we continue to wait for construction to finish on the NBCB  boathouse, this community event will take place at  Manhattan Avenue Street End Park (next to 1205 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn,  11222),  just one block away in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

The Public Paddles series lets North Brooklyn Community Boathouse do what we do best: fulfill our mission to enable access to the waterways of New York City for our local community.

At these FREE, informal paddles,  NBCB welcomes walk-up participants to join trained NBCB canoe guides for short trips on Newtown Creek in one of our 29' Langley canoes  We'll paddle out toward the East River, where we often pause to take in the view of Manhattan.

The event runs from 12-4pm. Come down to MASE Park, and learn more about Greenpoint’s history, environmental challenges, successes, and residents.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!

If you're interested, please sign up clicking the "Register" button.

Hope to see you there!
