Sunny Trip to Williamsburg Bridge this Sunday

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Come on out and join us on this sunny trip to Williamsburg Bridge. Remember to pack something to drink and a snack.

Water temperature is still chilly hovering at 60°F so a drysuit is certainly an option, otherwise you’ll require a thicker neoprene (e.g. 3/2mm) to be safe and comfortable on this trip! =)

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here (link: https://nbcboathouse.org/kayakskill-levels)
  • Meet: 1:30 PM at Queens Landing in LIC
  • Launch at 2:00 PM
  • Slack is at ~3:08 PM and flood begins
  • Return & Release: 4:30 PM
