Come enjoy a Saturday of canoe training at Lake Sebago!

This is an into training for beginner and intermediate canoeists to build confidence and skills in boat control. The course will cover "Level 2" skills for bow and stern and rescues. NBCB's own Amy Grumbling will be instructing, with Erin St. Peter and Thiago assisting.

There's a limit of six slots for the training.

We plan to be on the water 10 am - 5pm, and lunch will be provided.

We'll paddle rain or shine, unless the weather is truly inclement.

What should you bring?
Water bottles, sunscreen, and a hat.
Consider bringing a change of clothes, and some warm layers (it's usually a bit colder at the lake), and avoid cotton.

We have some space in the cabin for Friday and Saturday evening.
But you are welcome to arrive that morning, and depart that evening.
The cabin is accessible from the train station.

It's encouraged (but not required) that you join the ACA for this training ($40 annually). The cabin fee is waived for the trainings, but there is a $10 camp fee for each day you're at the camp for ACA members, and $20 if you are not a member of the ACA.

E-mail thiago "at" madeofpeople "dot" org with any questions or to discuss logistics.
