Art/Science Class: Drawing Hydrilla Plants
Art/Science Class: Hydrilla Plants
Do you know about the invasive water plant that is at Lake Sebago? Learn more about Hydrilla, the invasive water plant from Asia that inhabits the NY region and surrounding areas.
15 minute presentation of hydrilla facts, then the rest of the time is dedicated to art. We will use markers, photo mats, glue, decorative paper, and colored pencils to draw the plants. All supplies are provided or bring your own!
We will be at the NBCB cabin at Lake Sebago. We will also bring food and drinks to share or you can too!
Presented by Mary Lopez (ex-scientist) part of the Environmental Education Committee sharing Marine Biology facts around NYC's waterways.
