Canoe trips leave out of Manhattan Avenue Park. We will head west on the East River, down to Bushwick Inlet. If conditions are favorable, we may go farther. Bring water (it will be ~85F) and a light snack to enjoy on our break in the inlet.
I have setup registration so beginners can come out on this trip. If you cannot proficiently stern a canoe or haven't paddled with us before, please only register for the bow/middle paddler. That way I can be assured we have capable stern paddlers to get us to our destination. If I don't have enough stern paddlers, then I will train a few beginners to stern.
