Canoe trips launch out of Manhattan Avenue Street End (MASE). Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and bring water. The current forecast indicates it'll be sunny and around 75, with some amount of wind gusts lessening after 4pm.
A casual co-led small group trip for limited ambitions. We'll paddle east on the East River , possibly via the west channel to Rosevelt Island's light house first, possibly to Hallet's cove first, where we'll hang out, waiting for the tide to help us out or at least not work against us on the way home. Please note that the float plan is subject to adjustments according to the skill level of the group, any changes in weather, and conditions out on the water.
