-= Around the Bend to Red Hook =-

Come on out for a sunny spring tide adventure to Red Hook! We’ll head out from Newtown Creek, making our way past the Brooklyn Bridge, and continue on to Red Hook, where we’ll pull up at Valentino Park for a break before riding the flood home.

This trip falls on a spring tide, which means potentially stronger currents and more pronounced conditions on the East River than usual — expect a faster ride and be prepared for variable water.

Don’t forget to bring water, a snack, and your good vibes. =)

• Meet:  1:15 PM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
• Launch: 1:45 PM 
• Slack: ~4:17 PM (BB)
• Return and release around: 6:00/6:15 PM

What to wear and bring: 

• Dress to get wet, no jeans/other cotton clothing

• Water, a snack and a change of clothes
