Kayak, Intermediate Skills: Short and Sweet

This trip is waitlist managed. After the volunteers have signed up paddlers will be notified if they are registered.

Start the week with a short and sweet trip. The currents and our mood will determine the float plan.  Some days it will be a challenging paddle and other weeks we'll just drift and watch the sunset.

• Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
• Meet:  4:30 PM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
• Launch 5 pm
• Ebbing until  6 pm
• Return & Release: 7:30 PM ish

• What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc.

Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. Bring dry clothes in case you get wet and we have cool weather in the evening.
