The water and air temperatures are cooling off - dress accordingly.

Paddle through the notorious waters of Hell Gate—and live to tell the tale. First named Hellegat (“Bright Passage”) by Dutch explorer Adriaen Block in 1614, the name endures. Even today, the light dancing on the water remains beautiful.
