It’s Bulb Planting Season! Flower Watercolor Workshop for Adults

Celebrate Bulbfest—the joyful annual planting of thousands of tulip and daffodil bulbs in Hunters Point Parks—with a relaxing 90-minute floral watercolor workshop for adults.

We’ll begin with a short, engaging presentation about the fascinating history and science of flower bulbs, then dive into a playful hands-on painting session. Learn watercolor basics like color mixing, brush control, and techniques such as wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry.

You’ll practice painting petals, leaves, and stems before creating your own tulip—or any flower that inspires you!

All levels are welcome. Art supplies will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own favorites.
