Start your weekend with a relaxing art workshop for adults. We’ll begin with a short presentation on the salt marshes along Newtown Creek and the East River, highlighting the surprising diversity of birds, marine life, flowers, trees, and other life that still thrives there.
Our fun project: create one horizontal painting or drawing, cut it into four beautiful bookmarks, then choose decorative paper for the backing and add an optional ribbon—perfect as small gifts or stocking stuffers.
All materials are provided, including decorative backing papers, ribbons, watercolors, markers, and more.
