Registration

  • You must have trained as a big canoe bow or stern paddler with NBCB for this registration
  • Open to paddlers of all levels. We may move people off the waitlist as we get more certified paddlers to increase trip capacity.

Big Canoe Creek Paddle (all levels)

  • Skill level:  Beginner Intermediate advanced (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 5:50 PM at Manhatttan Avenue Street End
  • Launch:  6:10 PM
  • High Tide: 7:45 PM
  • Slack: 8:04 PM @ Hunters Point (Flow to Ebb)
  • Return  & Release: 8:30 PM
  • Sunset @ 8:23 PM

  • What to wear and bring

We will gather for a trip along the Newtown Creek in our Langley 29-foot big canoe(s). If time allows, we will head to English Kills before heading back up the creek.

If you are interested in joining please add yourself to the wait-list.  We will move people from the wait-list to the main registration once people have signed up.

Remember to dress for the conditions, bring something warm, water and a snack.
