Kayak: Short and Sweet    All sign-ups go to the waitlist first. Intermediate paddlers will be confirmed after a skills check, if space is available.

Start the week with a short and sweet trip. The currents and our mood will determine the float plan, be prepared for either a challenging or an easy paced paddle.

• Meet:  5:30 PM sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse - Long Island City
• Launch 6 pm
• Return: 8 PM ish
• Release: 8:30 PM at the latest

• What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc.

Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. Bring dry clothes in case you get wet and we have cool weather in the evening.
