This is an official American Canoe Association (ACA) course for the training and assessment for L2 Essentials of Canoe Touring . You have to be an ACA member to take this class and obtain certification.
This a comprehensive two day intermediate course that's strongly encouraged for trip assistants/ sterners to strengthen their skills, and required for anyone advancing in the ACA, or becoming a trip leader.

Spots are limited, and priority will be given to NBCB members who support our program as trip assistants/ regular canoe sterners.

Saturday will be held at ACA Camp Sebago from 10:AM to 5PM. Sunday training and assessment will be held Bushwick Inlet - start time expected 11AM.
For those joining, we will provide further details and help organize transport closer to the date.
