Have fun learning the most useful knots for kayakers and canoeists including the bowline, clove hitch, rolling hitch, and how to make off your boat to a cleat.

  • Skill level: All levels

  • Date: Monday September  21st, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
  • Location: Manhattan Avenue Street End Park (next to 1205 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222). In case of rain, we will meet in Scrappleland.
  • Instructors: Daniel & Fiona

Please sign up, as space is limited to 30.

There is limited seating in the park, so bring a chair if you'd like.

Tying knots is thirsty work, so for those who'd like to, we'll head to Scrappleland afterwards to celebrate our newfound nautical knot-abilities.

Nautical Knots is part of NBCB's Safety and Marine Knowledge Series.

Hope to see you there!
