  • What to wear and bring

If weather conditions cooperate, we'll celebrate the autumnal equinox with a paddle up the Queens shore to Hallet's Cove. This will be a nighttime paddle—we start after sunset. If you have a headlamp, please bring it.

Please be prepared for the weather! The low is forecast to around 59°F/15°C, and it may also be windy. Remember NO COTTON. A synthetic fleece or wool jacket with a windbreaker is a good idea.

Note: if the winds are too strong, we may opt to make this a creek paddle instead.

Remember to dress for the conditions, bring something warm, water and a snack.
