About the Trip: The trip will leave from North Greenpoint in one of NBCB's 29-foot Langley canoes and explore the Newtown Creek and parts of the East River, making stops for breaks, photos, and to observe local wildlife, including birds, oysters, fish and crustaceans. An NBCB excursion is a one-of-a-kind experience offering unique views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, while learning about the history, biodiversity, ecosystem, and revitalization efforts of New York's waterways.

Imagine hosting your next special occasion on the water! This is the perfect, unforgettable way to show out-of-town guests the city, celebrate a birthday in style, or host a unique team-building event with friends or colleagues.

This is a rare opportunity to access NYC's waterways in a way few get to experience--far beyond the usual tourist routes. While similar guided kayak tours can cost $85 or more per person (a value of over $750 for this group!), our big canoe excursion offers a more intimate, extensive, and truly unique adventure.

The trip can accommodate 9 guests and will last for approximately two hours. Guests will be guided by our American Canoe Association (ACA) certified guides, capable of safely and effectively chartering groups of paddlers with varying skills and mobility.

The trip will take place during our upcoming paddling season (May 2026 - October 2026). Our trip leaders will coordinate with the winner to find a suitable date and time that aligns with schedules and water conditions. 

How to Enter: Raffle tickets are $10 per entry.
